Joel Spolsky had some great posts on his blog, i read all the cool ones, but that was … long time ago. His blog sucks now, he now uses it to say how good he and his company is or to promote his programms that noone uses, its just boring.
I dont know nothing about Code Craft or Code Complete, but i read Beautifull Code and it was not interesting. I might look through those books and if they look ok i will read them.

But sometimes I personally think for script kiddies to start anyway possible including spaghetti code THEN once with some experiments under the belt. I think the “kiddies” may be more receptive to styles by the pros.
