About

Welcome to my little part of the 21st Century…I’ll be using it to ramble about life, the universe and everything. My life, my universe and my everything mainly revolving around technology this is going to be a fairly geeky blog. This isn’t going to be my personal blog but rather a collection of loosely related discussion pieces centring around technology, software development, and vaguely related issue.

What makes me qualified to ramble ?

I’ve been a professional software developer for the last few years working at a major technology company where I’ve done everything from UI design to reverse engineering databases to recruiting new developers. I’ve also been involved in a number of high-profile open source projects. I’ve done a lot of other random things as well….but I guess you’ll have to wait until I bring them up…..

All views and opinions expressed in this blog are purely mine and do not reflect in any way or form those of my employer, the projects I’ve been affiliated with, wordpress or anyone else.

I stumbled across this website searching for an old Haskell query I had posted during my agonising 2nd year at uni, just felt a bit nostalgic. I’d just like to say some of the comments made here are so immature, I haven’t read your blog, but skimming through some of the posts I think it’s quite interesting.

Wow, those aren’t the best qualifications. Just another Joel on Software wannabe perhaps? I don’t know because I haven’t read your blog, just the about me section and the comments on it. And, I’m not going to read it cause I have programming to do. Yep, I’ve been a programmer for MANY MANY years. I think you need a little more experience under your belt before people will take your tech blog seriously. But hey, blogging is fun so might as well keep it up – sounds like some people like it..

This plugin works best with Word – Press blog with great and lengthy content and it distributes Ad – Sense units evenly to your blog posts. If you’re thinking about blogging, it’s best to know your choices of blogging platforms.

Maaan, these people are the internet are crazy, spewing their toxic energy on the comments, for what? I just stop by here in Dec 2023 and still found your writings useful. It’s OK to have a blog even if you are not some super insightful genius. People don’t seem to get that knowledge is an activity of gathering pebbles of information. The more people that do it and post it, the better off humanity will be. No need to hate on others for finding the time to exercise the hobby of blogging. No need to knock his experience at it is also his valid individual human experience that we can all learn from, if only a tidbit.
